Barry Wilson| Chief Technology Officer

Barry Wilson joined Colo5 as the Chief Technology Officer in April 2011. Mr. Wilson is responsible for maintaining service level agreement (SLA) standards and managing network operations.  His responsibilities include the strategic implementation and design of IT architecture, monitoring and forecasting network utilization and capacity to increase network performance, and designing and managing network security and firewalls.

With a degree from Arkansas College of Technology in Electronics Technology and Information Technology as well as experience in both enterprise and small and medium business markets, Mr. Wilson brings a broad base of functional knowledge to Colo5.  Mr. Wilson’s experiences include telecommunications, wide and local area network implementation, network engineering and architecture, network disaster recovery planning and execution, network security management and security policy development.  He has also been certified by various technology manufacturers including Cisco Systems.
