Colo5 is equipped with three 1250 KVA Cat diesel generators that are activated by automatic transfer switches (ATS) which monitor the electric feeds and transfer loads to the generators once the feeds are stable. While this happens, the uninterrupted power supplies (UPS) systems keep your equipment fully powered, preventing resets.

Colo5 puts its money where its mouth is by guaranteeing minimal downtime with a 99.99% service level agreement (SLA). The A, B, and C side power systems make Colo5’s power supply truly redundant and reliable. All the generators have automatic backup systems and service contracts to keep them in peak operating condition. The generators are tested once a week to ensure they are running properly.
